7SECONDS Fitness Strength Training Routine explained

7SECONDS Fitness is committed to providing you with the best strength training routine and the most effective workout method for improved health and fitness. We operate by appointment only to ensure outstanding personalised service.

If you can afford only 30 minutes per week for your health, we will teach you how to spend this time with maximum positive results. Our workouts are based on Static Contraction Training (SCT), using Explosive Fitness (XF) Equipment.

Our Fitness Studio is called 7SECONDS Fitness, because each exercise takes about 7 seconds. Each workout consists of 5 strength training routines, using different muscle groups.

So why does the workout take 30 minutes instead of 35 (5*7) seconds?

These 35 seconds will be a very intense experience for your body. This strength training routine is comparable with weight training in the gym - but without lifting any weights. To prepare your body for this, you will need to take about 10 minutes to warm up, we will show you how. Once you have learned the form, the five 7SECONDS Fitness exercises and adjustment of the equipment between exercises will take only 10 to 15 minutes.

Spending the final 5 to 10 minutes on warm down stretching will ensure your body's optimum response to your workout.

Finally, a bit more about the workout:

The initial workout frequency is once per week (If you haven't followed any strength training routine for a while, you can start twice a week), this will change to once per ten days, then to once per fortnight. There are people who train only once per six weeks!

No strength training routine is without risk, and 7SECONDS Fitness system is of such high intensity that it should not be undertaken by someone who has an aneurism, or other condition that could cause injury from major exertion.

For healthy people the lack of motion and the use of strongest range minimises risk of joint injury, the lack of weights minimises risks due to falling weights. The ability to immediately stop the exercise and have the resistance go to zero cuts out the main source of most resistance training accidents; the apparatus pushing hard against the exerciser even after the person is no longer able to continue exercising. An added benefit of a strength training routine is that the joints, bones, tendons and ligaments are strengthened as well, as the added forces stimulate growth in those areas.
