Tony Reno (Explosive Fitness Inc.) has developed specialist fitness equipments to maximise the usefulness of the findings by Pete Sisco and John Little see: 7SECONDS Fitness explained (click here).
It does not involve any weights and so helps to minimise injury while building muscle and improving your fitness.
The way how it is build it is the perfect fitness equipment for home. It contains two pieces, an upper body fitness machine, and one for the legs.
The Upper Body Equipment
A bar is suspended in a fashion that allows for instantaneous force measurements and adjustment into ideal positioning for different body types and exercises.
With this fitness machine you can do the following exercises:
- Wide grip bench press - chest
- Close grip bench press - triceps
- Military press - Deltoids (shoulder muscles)
- Biceps curl - biceps
- Abs crunch - abdominals (tummy)
- Lats pulldown - latissimus (middle back)
- Deadlift - lower back, buttock, hamstrings
- Shoulder shrug - trapezius (upper back)
The Lower Body Equipment
The Leg Press offers a footpad in 90-degree position to the body to allow maximum power and correct measurement.
Fitness Equipments using weight are limited by the amount of weight you (or your gym) want to invest in.
These fitness machines are allowing much more weight that you'll ever going to use: The Upper Body Fitness Equipment can handle up to 800 kg, the leg press copes well with 2000kg!
Measuring Metre
So, how do you know how much you press/pull?
The XF Strength Training equipment uses a "Metre" that measures the intensity. It remembers the highest number (i.e. the highest weight lifted) of each exercise.
This number needs to be written down to keep track of your progress. Each exercise is performed for only about 7 seconds.

"You pull against a fixed resistance. There is very little movement. The resistance measures the force you are putting out.
You give it all you've got, doing everything in your power to make the metre read the highest number possible. The metre always tells you what you are currently giving.
When you are finished you push a button that tells you your maximum force" - Tony Reno
To bring it all together - Rapid Muscle Growth
These fitness equipments allow your muscle to grow with a minimal effort by using the following principles of rapid muscle growth:
- High intensity of muscular overload
- Progressive overload from workout to workout
- Proper spacing of workouts to avoid over training or under training
Less than one minute of total exercise time, maximum once per week in a very healthy way: less than one minute of total exercise time, training once per week, with measurable results each workout.
So far the market cannot offer anything comparable.
